Our origin dates back to 1928 with the creation of the Colorado Springs Community Trust by visionary citizens who believed that the Pikes Peak region needed a way to build a permanent charitable endowment to improve the quality of life in our community. Today, we still believe we can all help to build a better community. To achieve that, we have to continue to give back in a way that makes a difference for others. We’re not talking about putting away some funds just in case we encounter tough times down the road. And we’re not talking about a “money–in, money–out” approach to covering our day-to-day operating expenses. We’re talking about securing our community’s future and reaching out to greater numbers of people to help in more effective and exciting ways. Together, we can accomplish more.
