Practicing Musician is a social purpose corporation based in Seattle, Washington that empowers music educators, students, parents, and artists through accessible, high-quality music education. Our free online platform offers comprehensive instruction for 15 instruments across band and orchestra, featuring 3,500+ video tutorials, a complete sheet music library, and an integrated learning management system. We bridge the gap between traditional music education and modern learning through our comprehensive ecosystem of services. Beyond our core platform, we offer affordable private lessons, professional development mentorship programs for educators, and instrument retail options that include 36 weeks of free private lessons with every purchase. Our fundraising certification course, developed in partnership with Central Washington University, helps music programs raise an average of $25,000-$75,000 through strategic campaign management and booster program utilization. Guided by our vision of "Everyone everywhere joyfully practicing music," we're transforming music education through research-based teaching methods, comprehensive musicianship development, and inclusive access for all learners.
