PranaScience was founded in 2017 by Dr. Sundar Balasubramanian, a cell biology researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina, with three main goals in mind: research the benefits of pranayama (breath-work), develop pranayama practices, workshops and products, and make the practice accessible to everyone.
