Prayas IITH

Not many of us know that Prayas IITH began its journey a year ago, driven by the passion and dedication of volunteers who selflessly helped underprivileged students in the localities of Kandi and Sangareddy. What started as a humble initiative has now evolved into Prayas IITH, an organization with a broader vision and a larger goal – to expand our horizons and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. The journey so far has been inspiring, and the impact we've made in the community has been a testament to the power of collective efforts. Rural Development Cell (RDC) at IIT Hyderabad was established in July 2020 with a vision to support rural development initiatives of the Government through innovative technologies being developed at IIT Hyderabad. Prayas IITH or Prayas RDC is an organisation under the RDC aimed for holistic education for all. 👁️Our Vision: Prayas IITH is not just an organization; it is a movement driven by the belief that education is a powerful tool for transforming lives. Our vision is to create a platform where the privilege of education is extended to every corner, breaking barriers and fostering an environment of inclusivity and equality.
