PRECISE: Penn Research In Embedded Computing and Integrated Systems Engineering The PRECISE Center at the University of Pennsylvania was established in September 2008 to bring together experts from the electrical systems engineering and computer science fields to study the way machines interact with the physical world through their computing systems, aka Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Our research involves finding fundamental and practical solutions to problems of modeling, control, simulation, operation, formal method and the implementation of embedded/cyber physical systems. Our expertise covers machine learning, safe autonomy, adversarial robustness, anomaly detection, software correctness/reliability, formal verification, (hardware) control, high-level visual perception, and security. The mission of PRECISE is to drive innovation through Embedded AI & Cyber-Physical Systems research.
