The agricultural sector is under significant pressure. With changing regulations, strict environmental standards, and critical consumers, sustainability and future-proofing are crucial challenges. We believe farming can be done differently. We believe precision agriculture is the key to future-proof farming.
Precision agriculture involves using technological solutions, supported by data, to make decisions about applying the right cultivation measure at the right place and at the right time. These smart, technical solutions make our food system more efficient, effective, and sustainable.
For over a decade, founder Jacob van den Borne has invited organizations to test new solutions on his fields. What works, Jacob uses on his land, and what almost works, he helps improve. In this way, Van den Borne has become a reliable beacon in innovative farming methods.
To promote precision agriculture in practice, Van den Borne not only collects data about his own land and crops but also makes it freely available. Through 16 steps in the precision agriculture cycle, he encourages farmers and companies to adopt the farming of the future and act in harmony with Mother Nature.
