Prehab Overview

Prehab began in 2001 as the first injury prevention and athletic optimization center of its kind. The center has treated professional, semi-professional and every-day athletes as well as those who are entering sports or starting a new sport. Prehab is at the forefront of research as well as the practice of injury prevention and optimization. Dr. Alex Gometz, who founded Prehab, has co-authored many scholarly articles in journals such as Cureus, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery, and The Orthopedic Journal of Sports Medicine. Prehab has two locations: NYC/Manhattan and San Diego and is currently expanding its Prehab Run Club virtually (www.prehabrunclub.com). Prehab also hosts free monthly virtual themed runs to raise awareness on important issues and motivate athletes. Join us every month as we build our global community!
