When facing challenges – or period of change – in your organization, you might be searching for solutions where a different approach is needed. You need strong intrinsic motivation to activate your target group and you need play for intrinsic motivation. We use elements of play to improve learning, decision-making, behavioral change and creating awareness. Often, we’re not even aware of this because play comes naturally and has been an important part of our development since birth. As a game designer, I guide companies who want to better utilize the different methods of play. With more thoughtful design methods, you can improve the implementation and impact of serious games gamification and game-based learning. Solving problems always require a transition and very often this transition involves a change in behavior. Play triggers a change in behavior, which is critical for a successful business transition.
