Following a move to larger premises in 2012, Premium Drilling Tools Limited now occupies a modern manufacturing facility located at the Bridge of Don in Aberdeen, Scotland, as a manufacturer of down hole drilling equipment. The facility is located on a 1.63 acre site and consists of two workshops; a 11,000ft2 machine shop equipped with manual and CNC machines, a 5,000ft2 welding shop, an admin office and an extensive yard for raw bar and customer tool storage. PDT Ltd comprises an extremely experienced management team and work force who take great pride in the reliability and quality of their products and services and are certified to API Q1, ISO 9001:2015 and its API Specification 7-1. Servicing the oilfield worldwide for almost 20 years, PDT Ltd offers a large and complimentary range of drilling tools including Steel and Non Magnetic Stabilizers, Non Magnetic Flex and Drill Collars, Subs, Pup Joints, Motor Sleeves and Non-Magnetic Housings for MWD applications. PDT Ltd was selected by ThyssenKrupp Materials France, Drilling Tools Division, part of one of the largest Industrial groups in the world, as its stockist and distributor for the North Sea Region. Through its relationship with ThyssenKrupp steel group, PDT Ltd is able to offer Spiral and Slick Drill Collars in 4145H steel, Integral HWDP and Kellys up to 54 ft. and is agent and stockist for the ThyssenKrupp Amagnit 501 nonmagnetic material for drill string components. PDT Ltd also holds the license for TPS TS connections. Please ask for our current approvals as there are many different threads. PDT also offers a full repair services from Stabilizer regrinding and hard facing to re cutting of API Connections. We can also manufacture Hole Openers and a large variety of tools to customer drawings, to date we have manufactured in the region of 25,000 tools.
