Preptors is born from PREParation and menTORShip. The institute is started by Mr. Vishesh Nadiyana, an engineer, and IIM Calcutta alumnus, with an aim of mentoring students in addition to preparation. Preparation is a key part in getting admission in B-school so a good percentile will fetch a good college. Hence we focus on reaching each and every student by keeping the batch size to as small as 20! The learning that happens in class followed by doubt solving eventually helps in getting a better percentile and we are very serious about this. So a regular follow up on studies and attendance is maintained in a very friendly manner because we are mentors and not only teachers. Also, we encourage students to think beyond his/her capabilities and make wonders in the coming days. So from day 1, we start imbibing soft skills in students by the method of reading newspaper and discussion on the same. Data says that there are 4219 seats in IIM’s and 3665 in other Cluster 1 & 2 colleges, so out of approx. 2,00,000 students, who appear for CAT every year only 7884 students are in this colleges then what about the rest? They take admission in other reputed colleges! So at preptors, our aim is to guide each and every student to get an admission in a right b-school with the help of continuous mentorship. We don’t want any of our students taking admission in any random college and spoil his/her future. With the help of continuous one to one counseling, we achieve this task easily.
