About Stichting Present Bollenstreek
Stichting Present is een organisatie die de betrokkenheid van burgers, bedrijven, kerken, buurten en andere sociale verbanden wil stimuleren en organiseren. Als 'vrijwilligersmakelaar' biedt Present groepen burgers de mogelijkheid om een zinvolle en goed bestede dag te beleven door zich onbetaald en op projectbasis in te zetten voor mensen die te maken hebben met armoede, een slechte gezondheid of een sociaal isolement. Present wil zo in de samenleving een beweging op gang brengen waarbij steeds meer mensen het vanzelfsprekend vinden om naar elkaar om te zien. Present is sinds de start van Stichting Present Nederland in 2005 inmiddels gegroeid tot een landelijk netwerk met tientallen lokale stichtingen
