Presentient seeks to pioneer the field of network mesoscopy, developing applications and products that reveal complex network structures and interactions in different fields, not available with any other methods. Our mission is to provide actionable analytics that help protect what is precious while identifying hidden opportunities in a world that is becoming ever more connected and, therefore, more complex and unpredictable. Our portfolio management solution — Concurrence — provides networks-focussed data analysis on the state, architecture and stability of equity and currency markets, allowing for precise, dynamic portfolio management and identification of hidden risks and opportunities. Presentient was launched by Prof Dan Nicolau in April 2019, two years after he started developing it. Dan is a mathematician and medical doctor with a background in biocomputation, stochastics and network analysis. Following a DPhil from Oxford, Miller Fellowship from UC Berkeley and BM BCh Medicine from Oxford. Recently awarded the prestigious Future Fellowship of the ARC, he is Associate Professor of the Mathematical Sciences at QUT, Visiting Professor of Experimental Medicine, Oxford and Visiting Fellow to the Mathematical Institute, Oxford. Dan has written 50 papers and raised over USD 20mn from investors and government.
