Presonomics

Presonomics, Inc., a tax exempt non-governmental organization, is dedicated to promoting the economic benefits of preserving historic buildings. Our vision is to make the preservation of historic places the rule, not the exception, in the development of living communities throughout the world. Our hope is that all policymakers and land developers worldwide will value historic preservation and rehabilitation over demolition and new construction. We are gearing up for a major crowdfunding campaign, to be launched January 2015, that will finance the creation of a free and user-friendly online database of all extant publications related to preservation economics ("presonomics"). This innovative database will arm preservation-minded governments and nonprofits with pertinent "presonomics" research and case studies that can persuade policymakers and the public to preserve our built heritage---because it makes sense economically. Our motto is "Saving Money by Saving Places."
