Press This! Cleaners & Laundry became the premier dry cleaning and laundry company in the Chicago area. It was a private equity backed venture founded in 1997 and grew through organic growth (20+% same store sales every year, every store) and acquisition. With ten retail stores, four delivery routes, two production plants, and 50+ employees, it was the largest dry cleaner in the Chicago metro area. It received several "Best Dry Cleaner" awards in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, the founders and PE firm sold Press This! in a private transaction.
