Prevention Through Ahava {PTA}

In a world where some boys face emotional challenges that can hinder their spiritual growth, the Prevention Through Ahava (PTA) Program is dedicated to guiding them towards a brighter path. We specialize in working with yeshiva boys from 7th through 10th grade who are encountering difficulties in school due to various reasons, including trauma or emotional distress. Our approach is personalized and collaborative, partnering with schools to develop custom-tailored solutions for each individual boy, recognizing that one size does not fit all. At PTA, we provide personalized interventions, including therapy and mentorship, to help students thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our programs include placement assistance, incentive programs, and comprehensive interventions involving mental health professionals and school staff. We collaborate with therapists who specialize in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodrama Therapy, and other effective methods. This comprehensive approach ensures that boys receive the support they need to navigate challenges and develop essential coping skills. By working closely with students, their rabbeim, and school staff, we create a supportive and nurturing environment where boys can thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our mission is not just about academic success, but also about fostering resilience, emotional intelligence, and a strong connection to themselves and most importantly, Hashem.
