Pride in Luton CIO

Pride in Luton is a Luton based charity supporting the LGBTIQ+ community. We hold monthly support groups for Trans+ adults and parents who have LGBTIQ+ kids as well as social groups to tackle isolation including our popular "Sunday Socials" and our "Queer and Crafty" group. We are responsible for the annual Pride in Luton festival, which started in 2022 and now attracts over 5000. We also host a number of other social activities to bring the community together including club events, quiz nights, karaoke and our Big Pride Family Picnic in September each year. We advocate for the community with statutory partners including the NHS, Police, local authority and others and make sure that the LGBTIQ+ community has their voice heard and listened too. We hope one day that we can live in a more cohesive and inclusive world where there isn't a need for specific support services as everyone will be treated equally and be able to access what they need.
