About PRIDE PRIDE is a humanitarian and developmental Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2016. Recognized as a neutral, non-discriminatory, and impartial agency, we are committed to alleviating human suffering and ensuring equal access to basic rights for all. Our solution-driven initiatives focus on empowering individuals and communities affected by conflict and natural disasters, without political, social, racial, or religious bias. Since our inception, PRIDE has supported over 200,000 vulnerable women, men, children, and youth across Northeast and Northcentral Nigeria (Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Zamfara, and Benue states). Through programs in Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), Protection, Education in Emergencies, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Emergency Shelter, Non-Food Items (NFIs), Multipurpose Cash Assistance (MPCA), and Agricultural Empowerment, we have promoted community ownership, resilience, and sustainable development. Our interventions have contributed to behavioral change, flood mitigation, housing and land rights, and advocacy for marginalized groups. We envision a society where all individuals can freely access information, socio-economic opportunities, and the support needed to thrive.
