Grant Mahoney established Prima in 1990 as a paper recycling company that specialises in servicing the print trade Prima offers a bespoke service to maximise our customer's return on their waste paper and to add value in other areas. The printing industry has undergone many transformations since 1990 and likewise in the paper recycling industry we have seen companies merge or totally vanish. Prima continues to flourish in a shrinking printing industry and this is because of our values and business ethics.
We believe in a transparent partnership with the suppliers of our raw materials and produce a bespoke service to all of our customers. Prima provides a traceable system ensuring customers are paid for the full and correct amount of waste paper leaving their site. Prima has a unique full management information that allows us to provide our customers with useful data for whatever professional standard or accreditation they are working with.
Prima is located in Ashford and look to recycle locally with most of the paper being recycled in Kent. Even Prima's plastics are recycled as local as possible using a granulator in Suffolk rather than the Far East! Prima works with their customers to ensure that their carbon footprint is minimised.
