Our vision is for a future where science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM) jobs are as familiar to young children as those of teachers, doctors or firefighters. And where every child, regardless of background or gender, is able to develop the STEAM awareness, understanding, and skills that will equip them to shape the future technologically-dependent world in which they will live. Young children love space – with its astronauts and rockets and robots and planets and so many more AMAZING things they don’t get to see every day. All of those things rely on STEAM skills. PrimarySpace aims to set children on a path to becoming the future skilled workers the UK space sector and other high-value industries need to drive economic growth.
