About PrimeSCI!, Swinburne University of Technology

PrimeSCI provides outreach science education programs for primary and secondary school students, and professional development for teachers. Our goal is to bring the community and scientists together to enrich understanding of science and technology. We connect imaginative research-active and passionate scientists and technicians with students of all ages, their teachers, their friends and the general public here in Australia and globally. We work with universities, governments, UNESCO, National Geographic, the military, museums, regional centers, local communities worldwide - anyone with whom we can share our love of science. Over 24,000 students participated in PrimeSCI science activities in 2016. PrimeSCI programs take kids and adults into labs, the field, onto the net, and into the classrooms and lecture halls to explore how science and technology works and what it is able to offer each and everyone.
