Primordial Multicultural Healing Community

Primordial MHC is the Midwest’s first organization to focus specifically on addressing the issues of race, racism, immigration and other experiences of marginalization through culturally relevant mindfulness and somatic (body-based) awareness techniques. We are immigrant, BIPOC and women-led, providing direct connection and shared insight on the lived experiences of low-income Spanish-speaking populations and impact on their mental and physical health. The benefits of evidence-based mindfulness practice to improve health, sharpen focus and reduce stress have become more widely recognized in recent years and have become incorporated into the workplace and educational settings.
