Turn the transmission line lemons into lemonade for all: More than a decade ago, land on Pageland Lane was destroyed with the construction of massive Dominion Power transmission lines. This forever transformed the rural setting and reduced property values in the area. Now Pageland is sandwiched between a quarry and a three-million square foot data center. This has caused it to become a major cut-through for commuter and construction traffic to and from Loudoun County. We were handed a bunch of transmission line lemons, so now we want to turn them into lemonade for all. The PW Digital Gateway project will plan and create an environment attractive to data centers. This growing industry will provide millions of dollars in tax revenue annually, reduce tax burden for residents, bring better-paying jobs to PWC, fund our schools, and so much more—lemonade for everyone! Need convincing? The Digital Revolution has transformed Loudoun County into an international powerhouse, taking in HUGE annual taxes while Prince William County only takes in $64M. We are the right location! Putting data centers along the existing transmission lines is a "no-brainer"! This is our golden opportunity to end economic segregation: As the population and land-use in Prince William County has evolved, an income divide between the eastern and western parts of the county has emerged.
