PRISCA Lab (Projects of Intelligent Robotics and Advanced Cognitive Systems) is an active reality that promotes human connections between students and researchers. The lab contains robots and forefront technology available for innovative projects. PRISCA Lab is part of the ICAROS center (Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery). Its research activities include: Human-Robot and Human-Machine Interaction Mobile Robotics User Profiling Decision Support Systems Multi-Agent Systems Machine Learning for Human State Recognition Speech Perception in Humans and Machines Multimodal Interfaces Speech Dialogue Systems Social Signal Processing Computer Vision Biometrics Application areas include: Assitive Robotics for Elderly and Children E-Health and Rehabilitation Advanced Technologies for Gamification Smart Cities Financial Market Analysis and Forecasting Medical Imaging Prisca lab contains robots and forefront technology available for innovative projects. A home-lab, furnished to resemble a private home with IoT sensors for conducting HRI experiment is available.
