James Anderson bring over 20 years of corporate sales and investment experience to real estate with COMPASS. Coupled with his background as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), his career offers an uncommon perspective and market advantage to individuals, family offices, and investors. His clients gain a uniquely qualified partner to help them find and/or value and sell any of their real estate assets. Teamed up with former CPA and Managing Director, Jeannemarie Conley, they are able to offer a conspicuous level of market knowledge and service to their clients. Matters of trust, estate, and probate as well as development, investment, and off-market opportunities are all areas of special interest and expertise.
Earlier in his career, James led a global sales division as a Vice President at FactSet Research Systems. After FactSet, James was a founding investor and managing executive of Norbury Financial, a research management platform for the investment community. Just prior to Compass, James was COO for ClearMomentum; the only modeling and asset valuation platform for venture capital and private equity investors which was successfully sold to New York conglomerate, Ipreo.
Married with two daughters, James is active with the Boston Triathlon Team and has supported the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Epiphany School through participation in the Boston Marathon, Dublin Marathon, and three-time Pan Mass Challenge rider. He has a degree in Economics from Kenyon College where he played water polo and maintains his CFA designation in Boston.
