Psychedelic Registered Nurse

Nurses, patients and members of the public need access to timely, evidence based content about the re-emergence of psychedelic substances as mental health treatments. Nurses need to advocate for our profession's involvement in psychedelic research as well as the development of practices and policies to protect patient safety. Nurses must also collaborate with other health professionals and traditional healers to ensure equal access to psychedelic-assisted therapy for those who seek it. All content will be based on the principles of harm reduction and trauma informed care, while acting to reduce the stigma against people who use psychedelic substances.
