Originally launched in November 2007 and acquired in August 2008 by CME, TV2 was re-launched as Pro.BG in July 2009. Pro.BG is a general news and entertainment channel with a variety of television series, theatrical motion pictures and animated titles from studios in Bulgaria.
Among Pro.BG’s most popular programs are Azis' Evening Show, the Bulgarian version of Wife Swap, the show-biz orientated Urban Legends, In the Salon and others. Pro.BG also broadcasts the Champions League, and holds an exclusive multi-year contract with Warner Entertainment for Bulgaria.
The station's broadcasts currently reach of 70% of Bulgaria's 7.6 million people. It is one of three private national free-to-air networks serving Bulgaria, in addition to a single state owned channel and achieves an audience share of approximately 2%.
