Process Pathways is the Canadian market leader in research administration software, with solutions installed in universities, colleges and research institutions from Atlantic Canada to British Columbia. Established in 1999, Process Pathways began to address the challenges of research management on behalf of clients. More than a decade ago, the startup software company built a custom application for the University of Calgary that allowed the Research Office to manage grants and ethics, positioning it for improved operational effectiveness and a leadership position in Canadian research. The success of this early initiative led to continued programming and the development of a robust, off-the-shelf commercial product called ROMEO. Process Pathways is a privately owned Canadian corporation with offices in Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax.
