Process Triage® (the LLC) is the intellectual property owner and administrator of the ProcessTriage® Protocol and its body of knowledge, including case studies and facilitator training materials. The protocol is used to quickly assess (triage) a business process using the expert team that best knows it. The triage generates a prioritized set of improvement proposals. These proposals, together, have a “Process Triage Profile.” This profile’s pattern anticipates what the organization should expect when implementing the improvements. Process Triaging serves several purposes: • Leaders use triaging for organizational development, primarily to delegate issue processing and continuous process improvement to professionals who are closer to the work. • Professional business consultants use triaging for client “Core Process” assessments to refine and focus their consulting efforts. It is a proven business process diagnostic for business development. • Process Triaging is a powerful team building immersion where a business process crosses multiple swim lanes (silos). Team members improve their situational awareness of each other, become more accountable, and develop that ‘I’ve got your back!” empathy that is indicative of highest performing teams. The typical triage engagement includes a one-day facilitated workshop with the organization’s own process experts. A Process Triage (engagement) creates an Action-Result Map, a Process Triage Profile, and a set of improvement proposals. The AR Map and Profile highlight the nature and size of improvement efforts. Process Traige® (the LLC) recruits, on-boards, and supports Certified Process Triage Facilitators. The ideal facilitator is an established business consultant with executive suite gravitas and is generally familiar with business process management. Process Traige® engagements are designed to confirm the need for more invasive efforts, such re-engineering or business operating system enhancements such as EOS.
