Our mission is to stay true to PROCOM’s four guiding principles: those of local, kingdom, resilience, and social entrepreneurship. Local, so that our activities remain in the hands of local people as much as possible, to encourage long-lasting community controlled development. Kingdom, so through our activities it will become apparent how the Kingdom of God is manifest in the lives of the people we aim to serve. Resilience, so that our activities will empower communities to a level where they have the ability to endure long-term stress and recover from crises. Social entrepreneurship, so that we can finance most of our own activities through creative business ventures that will help us stand on our own and have local control over programming that will directly serve Rwandan communities. These four principles embody who we are and who we strive to become.
