ProDev Kayonza

ProDev Kayonza is a producer of agricultural products in Rwanda, established in 2006. We produce a variety of fresh produce including french beans, passion fruit, (dried) chilies and marigold flowers, for which we have a newly-constructed, large processing plant located in our farm. Through our local and export business, we strive to create employment opportunities for Rwanda’s youth and promote gender equality by advocating for women to work in managerial roles. Our farm is located in Kayonza district, home of the picturesque Akagera National Park. The farm encompasses over 700 hectares of land, with water access from the nearby Lake Ihema for irrigation. We have been working with our partners, including IDH The Sustainable Trade Initiative, to ensure our farming practices meet the requirements of international and specifically European market demands.
