Prodis S.A. was founded in 1959 in the area of Acharnai, Greece. Ahead of its time, the company’s goal was to offer consumers with solutions to their everyday personal care needs by utilizing extensively the heavy investments made in research and development for innovative formulations. Meanwhile, Prodis S.A. also operated as a toll manufacturer and raw material supplier. In 2013, the company was acquired by Polymers & Colors S.A., a company operating in the field of raw materials and machinery for the coatings industry for diversification of their portfolio. Hence, the focus of the company shifted heavily towards toll manufacturing.
