Young Productive Mind Initiatives (YPMI)

Young Productive Mind Initiative is a network of an adorable, loveable, influential, goodhearted, and concerned member of the society who cares about the well-being of the people, especially the children, youth, and women, and would do everything possible within their capacity to ensure that underprivileged children are nurture, and also that youth and women are empowered so that they can all contribute maximally to the development of self and their societies. We have noticed that many children of school age are out of school in our communities, they roam the streets when their mates are in school, and this condition over years had given rise to a lot of truancies and young girls and boys with undefined destinations polluting the society. Consequently, these neglected children of yesterday cannot be disconnected from the reason for the sleepless night society is facing today. More so, we give credence to the youths (girls with the highest priority) and women's development because they occupy a very important portion of our population, and conversely, they are the most vulnerable and most bear the cross of the imbalances in the society. Thus, we resolved to help the youths and women in our society with adequate life skills, mentoring, and empowerment for sustainable development. Also important to us is the well-being of all our beneficiaries and the health-related way of life of people around us, hence we gather resources and strive to encourage and motivate the people in our community to live a healthy life and also know their status through HIV outreaches and advocacy programs. Our focus is on zero hunger, and Education.
