En 1954, en la ciudad de Chihuahua, México, un hombre visionario tuvo el sueño de crear la receta para un cereal natural, que fuera nutritivo y delicioso y que pudiera estar al alcance de cualquier persona, en especial de los niños.
Fue entonces que, desde su casa, con una pequeña maquinaria instalada por el mismo, creó la receta para un cereal a base de grano entero de Trigo, con sabor Vainilla. Así pues, NACE el primer cereal de trigo endulzado fabricado en la ciudad de Chihuahua.
En bolsas de papel, iba de tienda en tienda por el centro de la ciudad ofreciendo su cereal, y por su rico sabor, rápidamente tuvo gran aceptación.
Era tanto el gusto de la gente por los Chachitos, que prácticamente en cada casa había una bolsa de este cereal. Los niños pedían sus Chachitos, mañana, tarde y noche.
Con la demanda hubo que aumentar la producción y mejorar los procesos para su fabricación.
