A. S. M. A. Haseeb is a professor of materials engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur. He is also the Dean of Innovative Industry and Sustainability Research Cluster at UM. He received his PhD in 1992 in materials engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium.
