PITP Limited: Unlocking the Skills of Refugee Graduates and Professionals

Millions of refugees around the world live year after year with little hope of ever returning home. Some cannot because their countries are engulfed by endless conflict or because they fear persecution if they were to return. In such cases, finding a home in the country of asylum and integrating into the local community could offer a durable solution to their plight and the chance to build a new life. This is a platform to promote refugees in the Midlands and discuss issues of common interest. Standing firmly on the side of education, having a qualification and creating an opportunity to develop as leaders. Refugees can with passion, values, experience and skills go on to lead transformational change. This is a platform where refugees can develop a strategy on how they can increase the opportunity of getting a professional job through work skill training and develop a strategy how they communicate/deliver information to the needy youth. This is an opportunity to inspire, mentor and tutor the young to join Colleges/Universities to enhance their skills. What makes refugees extraordinary is: • Their ambition to improve, and willingness to stand up and face challenges • Being a role model, and the desire to keep learning. • The determination and resilience to achieve their goal.
