Profitless Web

Who: We are an NPO consisting of IT professionals, software developers, data scientists, researchers, and unemployed youth. Many of us volunteer our time to make the 4IRSA vision a reality. What: Profitless Web provides 4IR solutions and consulting services. Why: David Makhura, the Gauteng Premier of South Africa (SA) was quoted in an Engineering News article as saying "We, in South Africa, are also moving fast to a future in which 41% of current jobs will be rendered obsolete by automation, while 35% of skills that are considered important in today's workforce will have changed beyond recognition and others would have disappeared completely." Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, SA's Science and Technology Minister, suggested the country's development success was correlated to 4IR mastery (EngineeringNews) How: Companies and non-profits need 4IR research and development solutions of value. For these organizations to make the necessary transition to 4IR, they require cost-effective solutions from a responsible service provider. Profitless Web is not only a responsible service provider but they also invest in the unemployed youth of South Africa by upskilling them for the 4IR job-market. As a result, the capable, yet, unemployed youth become paid interns of Profitless Web mentored and coached by the resident professionals. As a result, Profitless Web is accelerating 4IRSA and preparing the labour force for developing and operating 4IR technologies. When: Now! As South African organizations we should no longer consider adopting and piloting 4IR, we should be implementing it. Let us not waste any more time and economic opportunities.
