PROFORMA: Applied Business Science Corp.

Proforma was started by George A. Mitrovich in 1977 with a focus on in-store market research. The company grew to operate in all corners of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. At one time the company operated across North America, some parts of Europe and did work in China and Africa. George Mitrovich grew the business and brought in his family. The company expanded to over 300 employees and was arguable the largest family owned market research company in Canada at one time. Since his retirement in 2010 the company was effectively closed and lay dormant. In 2016, with input from his father Jonathan A. Mitrovich has now relaunched Proforma under the banner of "Proforma: Applied Business Sciences Corp." Proforma will continue to offer world class market research with the addition of various advanced analytics, six sigma applications, and modern techniques and twists on older market research techniques.
