About Programme for Poverty Reduction (PPR)
The Italian and Pakistan Governments have entrusted to Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) the execution of the ´Programme For Poverty Reduction Through Rural Development in Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administrated Tribal Areas and Neighboring Districts`, in short the ´Programme for Poverty Reduction/PPR`. The PPR is financed by the Government of Italy with a soft loan of Euro 40 million through the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation DGCS/MAECI and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation AICS. PPAF is implementing PPR through its Partner Organizations' in 14 Districts and 38 Union Councils of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ex. Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
