About Programme Jaussen & Savignac

The Jaussen & Savignac programme is the result of a scientific cooperation agreement signed in February 2024 between the University of Paris 1 and the Royal Commission for the Arabian Peninsula for a period of 5 years (2024-2029). Dedicated to developing archaeology and preventive conservation in the Arabian Peninsula and more generally in the Arab world, the programme is divided into two components: research and training.
