Launched in 2023 by the VIVESCIA cooperative group and its partners*, TRANSITIONS supports farmers in adopting low-carbon, more resilient agricultural practices that benefit soil health and biodiversity.
TRANSITIONS brings together plant and cereal sectors from upstream to downstream in an ambitious, innovative, and robust program. It aligns with scientific and international standards (GHG Protocol, SBTi FLAG, SAI Regen Ag…) and is audited by Véritas.
A systemic agronomic framework – covering soil, carbon, and biodiversity – designed at the farm level, the only true guarantee of progress. The program aims to reduce economic and technical risks for farmers who commit for three years, offering significant financial support, collective training, and personalized guidance.
Coalitions of industrial and agri-food clients, along with technical and scientific partners: to achieve large-scale agricultural and food transitions, only a collective response can help share the costs.
A digital trust chain: the cornerstone of the program, data is the foundation of a robust data chain. Its pioneering methodology in the sector is widely recognized.
Growth and Expansion Over Two Years:
TRANSITIONS by VIVESCIA: Target > nearly 1,000 farmers in Northeast France by 2026. As of June 2025, 420 farmers are already engaged.
TRANSITIONS by NORIAP: With the program launched in 2025 in its region, the goal is > 250 farmers by 2028, with an initial cohort of 100 farmers committed for the 2026 harvest.
