About Programos Foundation
Programos Foundation is the driving force behind the Innovationbed Student Innovators Mentorship Platform, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization committed to promoting youth-led innovation across Nigeria and Africa.
Since 2009, the Foundation has coordinated the UN-based World Summit Awards (WSA) tech-scouting mentorship initiative, empowering young startups and spotlighting locally made innovations on the global stage. Additionally, Programos Foundation facilitates the UN ICT4SIDS Strategic Planning Toolset education program, spearheading CiTO Certification Pilot programs across Nigeria and Africa. This initiative is delivered in partnership with the Lead Project Architect at NGE Institute Inc., USA, and Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, USA.
The Foundation is fully owned by Programos Software Limited, Nigeria’s indigenous capital market software development company. With over two and a half decades of pioneering automation in African capital markets, the company continues to stand strong in the FIX Protocol global technology community, with a new generation of African leaders shaping the future of fintech and digital finance.
