Progress Pathways provides Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology for Kids. We exist because when kids get the support they need they make the progress that matters which gives them more opportunities to thrive. We Help Children Who Have A Diagnosis… (AND Those Who Don't!) Our Team are experienced in working with children who have the following diagnosed conditions: Autism ADHD Cerebral Palsy Global Developmental Delay Developmental Co-ordination Disorder Traumatic Injuries to the Brain or Spinal Cord Down Syndrome Ehler-Danlos Syndrome and Generalised Hypermobility Syndrome William's Syndrome Noonan Syndrome Other genetic disorders or syndromes We Also Work With Children Without A Diagnosis Who Are Experiencing... Milestone Delays. For example, any concerns you may have about your child's crawling / walking / talking, especially in relation to their peers. Challenges with Self-Care Activities. Such as difficulties dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, bathing and toileting. Troubles at School, Kindy or Daycare. Including academic progress, establishing and maintaining social relationships, following routines and playing on the playground. Worries about School Readiness. For example, fine motor challenges, handwriting concerns, attention and concentration difficulties and challenges transitioning from one activity or space to another. Communication Challenges and Delays. Such as not communicating, frustration in communication, difficulties with sound formation. Difficulties with Social Skills. Including connecting with family and friends, making and maintaining friendships and difficulties reading social cues. Mealtime and Feeding Concerns Like food refusal, difficulty swallowing and avoidance of certain textures. Emotional Regulation Challenges Including meltdowns and outbursts that seem above and beyond age appropriateness.
