Progression partners with non-profits, investors, and outdoor sports industry stakeholders to spotlight fundraising start-ups that directly support the missions of non-profits. By connecting non-profits, investors, and founders, we identify critical market gaps in climate-based solutions and spotlight areas urgently requiring catalytic capital. Partnerships with the outdoor sports industry introduce a vital layer of neutrality, reducing polarization around climate change and engaging investors who might not typically participate in this space. Additionally, world-class athletes help amplify these efforts, using their platforms to bring attention to key climate challenges and innovative solutions. In partnership with the World Surf League (WSL) and the Surf Conservation program at Conservation International, Progression 2025 will highlight startups in the process of fundraising that have the potential to make significant progress in protecting the health of our oceans. At the event, investors will have the chance to hear from six carefully curated companies that support the missions of both Surf Conservation and WSL, and represent exciting business opportunities.
