The Progression Partners' Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative support the promotion of racial and cultural equity in schools. This helps schools bridge the performance gap for minority students, increase student engagement in classrooms, improve student attendance and discipline, and improve student achievement for all. The Initiative is an inside-out approach that encourages school leaders and teachers to reflect on their own understandings and values about others โ€“ validating their current beliefs and feelings about people and encouraging change, without threatening their own self-worth. This enables a shift in the culture by tackling ethnic and social gaps and creating an environment shaped by diversity.
