Mission Statement: Project 318 provides preparative resources for families facing tragic events and supports those who have lost a parent or head of household. Through essential resources, a supportive community, and a scholarship program, we empower families and children to navigate grief and rebuild their lives. Our mission is to ease the burden of such life-altering events and guide families toward stability and hope for a brighter future. Who we are: Project 318 is a faith-based Christian organization, grounded in the belief that the Lord has a hand in all aspects of life and that through Christ, we find the strength and healing needed during times of suffering. While we may not always understand the challenges we face, we trust that there is purpose in every event. Our mission is to support families navigating the toughest times with the love and guidance of Christ, providing preparative resources, grief counseling, financial assistance, and a supportive community to help them find hope and resilience through their faith. What We Do: 1. Prevention and Preparation: o Legal and estate planning (wills): Partner with employers and community groups to offer guidance on creating wills. o Insurance Education: Provide education on life and death insurance to ensure families are prepared. o Financial Counseling: Offer financial planning and counseling to help families manage their resources effectively. 2. Support for Families Facing Loss: o Grief Counseling: Provide comprehensive grief counseling for families, including specialized support for adults and children. o College Scholarship Program: Award scholarships to support educational pursuits for children who have lost a parent or head of household. o Financial support & counseling o Legal Guidance o Supportive Community & Spiritual support: Foster a nurturing community to help families connect and find support.
