Project Arth

Arth is a social enterprise started by students of IIT Delhi, with the vision to financially empowering farmers via efficient utilization and optimization of resources that are otherwise underutilized. As of now, we are focusing on use of excessive cow dung to synthesize fuels that will find applications in cremation. To make the whole process of cremation green and less dependent on wood that causes deforestation, we have articulated a concept of fuel that provides high calorific value. We have successfully conducted our first test cremation at Nigambodh Ghat Delhi. We are currently working on improving the properties of our fuel in terms of calorific value and fewer emissions.
