Project Basera aims to uplift the lives of homeless women by providing them employment and access to basic amenities while simultaneously tackling the rising threat of plastic was caused due to mismanagement by finding sustainable solutions through two diverse business segments - Dafti & Inaayat.
Dafti is an ecological furnishing solution that upcycles discarded corrugated cardboard into ergonomic, lightweight, and eco-friendly desks and tables which act as a sustainable alternative to plastic furniture.
Inaayat mitigates the marine pollution caused by synthetic microfibers, including PPE by converting them into utility products like mattresses and bags.
Project Basera is a student-run initiative working tirelessly towards uplifting communities, generating employment, and creating a better, more sustainable world through the principles of social entrepreneurship.
