Project Cambridge was founded in 2025 by Jen Richardson who, following an incredible 13 years thriving in the 'Sci-Tech' sector as a Recruitment Consultant, wanted to offer ‘something new’ and purpose led: Promoting growth within our Sci-Tech ecosystem whilst simultaneously fostering inclusion within the wider Cambridge community. We've ‘packaged up’ some affordable, tailored consulting solutions for: 1) Individuals invested in their next career move 2) Start-ups with a plan to grow, needing advice on how to hire effectively 3) Tailored live training workshops with the tools and know-how to "Hire Yourself" or "How To Get The Best Out of a Recruiter" 4) Start-ups launching a new company page or individuals looking to enhance their profile, we can help you with that or even take care of things for you! “What does growing a team around us need to look like?” “HELP. We have no idea how to hire!” “Which solutions are best for us?” Our training workshops are designed to help you make the right hiring decisions, getting it right first time. No company Linkedin page or the time to run it? Nobody viewing your profile or getting interactions? We're experts in optimising socials and working with the algorithms so you "get seen" by the right people. Need help refining your interview technique? Helping hundreds of people into work over the years means we know the drill on interviews and specifically, many of the Sci-Tech companies in Cambridge. We also have a podcast and help run events! These services all keep Project Cambridge afloat so we can ‘give back’, by providing pro bono support to individuals struggling with traditional routes into employment, as well as partnering with education providers to deliver specialised career guidance for young people. Project Cambridge promises to ‘give back’ by sharing resources by engaging with charities and NFPs. This is “Growth”, where people don’t get left behind in the process.
