The University of Algarve with your vast experience in technology and marine science projects, has established a center for the development of activities in the areas of Maritime Technology and Maritime Safety, called Centre for Innovation in Hydrographic Technologies.

The Centre for Innovation in Hydrographic Technologies is located in the south of Portugal, in the facilites of the University of Algarve. The centre develops activities in the scope of hydrographic observation, emergency management and creation of new products and development of new systems. Divided into 3 areas, called nodes, the center is composed of researchers who are responsible for developing activities to meet the objectives of the CIU3A project.
