Project EDStart

Project EDStart is a nonprofit organization that provides equitable access to college and career development resources to children and adults, especially those from low-income, minority, and first-generation backgrounds. We work alongside students, parents, and community leaders to create more equitable pathways by offering a variety of services such as professional development workshops, resume review, college advising, community service opportunities, tutoring, and internship networking. Our Core Beliefs: 1. We believe all children and adults, regardless of their race, gender, sex, and socioeconomic background have the right to quality education. 2. We believe there have been long-standing gaps in opportunity and resources for many children, but these are not inconquerable. 3. We believe that when the community and schools align to support one another, children can reach their maximum potential.
